• Park Associati at the Ostuni Design Week-end

    On the occasion of the first edition of Ostuni Design Week-end, Michele Rossi, partner and co-founder of Park Associati, has been invited to participate in the round table “La singolarità del Progetto. Architetti a confronto” moderated by Giorgio Tartaro. The meeting aims to reflect on the meaning of space and place, involving - in addition to Michele - architects such as Cristian Catania/ Lombardini22, Giovanna Latis, Roberto Murgia, Marco Splendore/ WIP and Rosanna Venezia/ Flore&Venezia.

    In addition, Michele Rossi and Gino Garbellini of Piuarch, with support from BIOmatCanapa, will unveil the installation "Il Giardino di Sant'Oronzo." Inspired by citrus orchards and featuring a standout arboreal section by Gianni Birardi, this installation will greet visitors at the threshold of Palazzo San Francesco.

  • Milano Arch Week 2024 - “Illuminare la città debole: progetti per la rigenerazione urbana”

    On the occasion of Milano Arch Week, Alessandro Rossi, Associate and Project Director at Park Associati, takes part in the conference “Illuminare la città debole: progetti per la rigenerazione urbana” moderated by Francesco Scullica, Professor at the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano. Alessandro's speech, “La profondità nell’ombra”, reflects on the importance of night-time perception of the urban city context, through the narrative of Gioiaotto's lighting project.

  • “Method over style”, a lecture at the EiABc / Ethiopian Institute of Architecture di Addis Ababa

    Park Associati has been invited by the EiABc / Ethiopian Institute of Architecture in Addis Ababa to give a lecture called “Method over style”. Michele Rossi, Founding Partner, and Vincenzo Salierno, Project Leader, talk to the students about Park Associati projects, focusing on the design approach and method, and the research work of the Park Plus department.

  • Milano Arch Week 2024 – About extraction: from the local to the interplanetary

    On the occasion of Milano Arch Week, Matteo Arietti, Head of Research at Park Associati, participates in the talk “About extraction: from the local to the interplanetary”, a reflection on the relationship between resource extraction, territory, and architecture, by considering the continuity of local, regional, global, and interplanetary domains, and a close correlation between the different scales of the project. The talk is curated by Federico Godino, Erpinio Labrozzi and Mattia Tettoni.

  • Milano Arch Week 2024 - Anatomy of Public Space. Do you know your urban body?

    For this Milano Arch Week 2024, we’ll present an exclusive opportunity for professionals and enthusiasts in urban planning, architecture, and social infrastructure to converge at the workshop "Anatomy of Public Space – Do you know urban body?" Hosted by Park Plus, LAND Research LAB and Fondazione Transform Transport ETS at Park Hub, the event begins with an introduction to the themes explored in the publication "Anatomy of Public Space," followed by an interactive workshop where attendees will work in groups to creatively address the challenges of contemporary public spaces.

  • Milano Arch Week 2024 - I grattacieli milanesi tra storia e progetto

    On the occasion of Milano Arch Week, Filippo Pagliani, partner and co-founder of Park Associati, was invited by Damiano Iacobone and Alessandra Coppa, to participate in the international study day "(A new) Torre Velasca? I grattacieli milanesi tra storia e progetto", a reflection on the methodological approach to the intervention on Milan's skyscrapers. Filippo's speech focused on the redevelopment of the Torre della Permanente, a 1950s building by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Luigi Fratino, which Park Associati tackled starting from an accurate historical and philological analysis of the original project.
