    Matteo Arietti, Head of Innovation at Park Associati, has been invitetd by the Ordine Architetti Treviso to give a speech in webinar mode, talking about the firm's projects and specifically about the book INLEGNO, the result of the research carried out by Park Associati with Bollinger+Grohmann on the potential of wood in present and future architecture. This research of international scope aims to reflect on the evolution of a dysfunctional system poised between climate crisis and growth opportunities.

  • Talking about Urban Mining at the Politecnico di Milano

    Matteo Arietti, Head of Research at Park Associati, has been invited by the Belgian collective Rotor to participate in a conference during their Masterclass at the Politecnico di Milano. Matteo talks about the Urban Mining, the process of obtaining secondary raw materials from the built environment, specifically in relation of the ongoing project MI.C, focused on environmental responsibility and urban regeneration.

  • Visiting Luxottica Digital Factory with SFE Italy Hub

    Park Associati leads the visit to the Luxottica Digital Factory organized by the Society of Façade Engineering Italy Hub on the occasion of its first anniversary. Lorenzo Merloni/ Associate and Project Director at Park Associati, and Nicola Greco/ Operations Director Deerns, talk about the industrial architectural renovation project and the design challenges related to the façade of the Luxottica Digital Factory, which won the ‘International Refurbishment’ category at the SFE Façade Design and Engineering Awards 2023.

    Park Associati invites Giulio Vinaccia to present the talk 'Ethical Design', exploring its profound implications for the contemporary design industry.

    Vinaccia's career spans over 20 years in product design, during which he has collaborated with major Italian brands such as Ferrari, Piaggio, and Ducati. Since 1994, he has been a design consultant for global development projects, focusing on social design, cultural heritage, and product innovation. Awarded the World Green Design Award in 2015 and the Compasso d’Oro in 2016, he has been appointed as the 'Ambassador of Italian Creativity' since 2018 and actively collaborates with UNIDO and other United Nations agencies

  • The Leva handle designed by Park Associati receives an Honorable Mention at the XXVIII Compasso d’Oro Award

    At the award ceremony of the XXVIII Compasso d’Oro Award held on June 20th. the Leva handle designed by Park Associati and produced by Dnd, has been awarded an Honorable Mention. The formal purity of Leva's design is inspired by the mechanical concept of the lever. Simplicity and functionality were the guiding principles behind the design.

    An exhibition at the ADI Design Museum presents a selection of the participating products in an exhibition that can be visited until 16 September.

  • Following Micrographia, the installation of the innovative Habitat Façade claddings

    During the last edition of the MDW, Park Associati presented Micrographia - Redesigning for biodiversity, an exhibition to tell the story of the experimental research on biodiversity conducted by Johanna Seelemann, with the production supervision of Park Associati and the scientific support of Vivaio Bicocca. One of the three experimental works resulting from this research is the innovative Habitat Façade cladding made by Ricehouse, a non-profit company that transforms waste from rice processing into natural materials for green building. Following that experimental phase, Ricehouse has installed some Habitat Façade elements on the terraces of Torri Risorsa, in the building redevelopment area of the Barona district in Milan. This very important first step in grounding the project will be monitored by Vivaio Bicocca during the summer heat peaks to assess its results and performance.

  • Park Associati at the summer workshop by Boisbuchet

    Next July, Park Associati will be an active participant in the Mycro-fabrication summer workshop organised by Domaine de Boisbuchet, together with Miriam Josi and Stella Lee Prowse from the French studio Aléa. The theme of the workshop investigates the potential of mycelium as a binder of materials, exploring the world of growing architecture and focusing on an organism increasingly recognised for its ecological benefits and versatility in design.

  • Deltalight: Architectural Studio Talks

    Marco Sorrentino, Product & Furniture Design Director, participates in the talk ‘Connecting nature. Biophilic design’ organized by Delta Light, that involve as well Saota and Skira Architectural Light. Marco's talk, ‘The journey to Nebbia’ tells about the design and production process of the Nebbia, a lighting collection presented during the last edition of the Milan Design Week.
