    The theme oft the Italian Design Day 2020 is „Driving the future“, Development, Innovation, Sustainability, Beauty. Michele’s lecture “Well-being in the Workplace“, deals with important changes the working environment has undergone recently. These aspects are even more important in light of the Covid 19 pandemic. The case study is the urban transformation that has interested Milan in the last 10 years, which has led to a reappraisal of the working environment in the city with different strategies. The emergence of new working communities has led to the creation of efficient and innovative buildings and, at the same time, the redevelopment of the post-war and modern architecture heritage, to which Milan bears witness like no other Italian city.

  • Evolving Milano

    On 14 April 2020 Filippo Pagliani is guest lecturer of the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture Master of Science in Urban Planning in conference call. Through Park Associati’s projects in the city, the conference retraces the recent urbanistic evolution of Milan, a recognition unfolding between the reading of the past, the transformation of the present and the imagination of the future.

  • Catania looks at the sea

    Catania looks at the sea. Lecture at the University in Catania
    Architect Michele Versaci exposes to teachers and students of Catania’s University the project by the design team led by Park Associates, winner of the competition for the restyling of the waterfront of the Etna city. The proposal is to rebuild the relationship between the city and the sea, interrupted in its continuity by infrastructures, the railways in particular, built on the coast. The lowering of the railroad, in accordance with the urban planning premises, will allow starting the restyling of 8 km of coast to the benefit of citizens.

    Each architecture has its evolution. The project dealing with recovery and reuse, takes evolution into account, by reading the past, transforming the present and inventing the future. "The sustainable development of the project" is the title of the lecture by Elisa Taddei, Project Leader of Park associated, in Bergamo on November 29th for the series of meetings: "Riuso tra esperienze e nuove visioni" at Ordine degli architetti in Bergamo.

    Every year Emilio Battisti invites Milanese architects to choose a project for a talk in his cycle of conferences. Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi have presented Engie Headquarters to an audience mainly composed of professors and architects who analyze, criticize and deepen the project. An open confrontation, lively and fruitful, from which the project came out the winner.
