March 20, Michele Rossi will give a lecture at the Italian Culture Institute in Ljubljana, on urban regeneration and retrofitting of modern buildings, featuring some recent examples of projects in Milan.

The March appointment of AIR3 CINEMA CLUB, chooses a main topic in the discussion of our time and investigates its declinations in the history of cinema.
“Confini” is one of Park Associati’s contributions as guest curators, , for the Milan Design Film Festival of 2018, in collaboration with AIR3, involved in the preparation of the thematic playlists.

“The adaptive evolution” is the title of the lecture by Filippo Pagliani at the opening workshop of Klimahouse event in Bolzano, on January 23rd. 2019

Taking inspiration from the Darwinian evolution theories, the lecture opens a new look at adaptive changes in the morphology of architectural projects, in parallel with social and urban transformations.
Highlights will be the logic and method that led Park associates to identify a theory of the evolution of design and to create architectures capable of reflecting, in their identity, the ethics of sustainable construction.

In the second chapter that Area Magazine dedicates to Italian architecture, Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi talk about the philosophy behind the projects of Park Associati, the achievements and the road still to be done, the difficulties and challenges of designing in Italy, the legacy of a great architectural tradition and its conscious overcoming.

Designers from 25 countries worldwide sent their proposals to the first edition of the Milano Design Week Call of Park Associati. The jury will meet by the end of the month and the winning project will be proclaimed on January 31st. Follow us on the website and social network!
