Local identity and urban mending converge into a new idea.
City space meets design space on a cross platform centred on production, activities, ideas and nature: a creative community made of interaction and exchange focused on an opportunity for development that aims at a different kind of living.
Unione 0 envisages office spaces, hospitality, local commercial activities and innovative residential solutions. The theme of reconnection with the industrial legacy of the city of Sesto San Giovanni, its components enhanced by the landscape design, is the linchpin of Cluster 1, the main building of the entire complex designed by Park Associati to host a 700-bed student Hotel.
The other selected designers involved in the masterplan are Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, Barreca & La Varra and Scandurra Studio Architettura.
