Olympic club

A home for uniqueness and universality

Inside Palazzo Giureconsulti, one of the most emblematic landmarks of historic Milan, Park presents the Olympic Club, an interior architecture project active from 6 to 22 February 2026 that will host the Olympic Committee during the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games. In collaboration with On Location and with graphic design by The Branding Letters, the Club interprets hospitality as a space for connection, representation and contemporary storytelling. It takes shape as an environment that is exclusive yet inclusive, capable of welcoming an international community while remaining deeply rooted in the Milanese context. The project is embedded within a building designed by Vincenzo Seregni and inaugurated in 1654, establishing a measured and conscious dialogue with its architecture. Rather than overlapping with history, Park chooses to inhabit it temporarily through a reversible spatial system that protects and enhances the existing structure. This approach gives rise to the concept of the “box within the box”, a modular, freestanding and fully demountable wall system made of recycled MDF and conceived according to circular design principles. It is an architectural device that defines new environments without ever concealing frescoes, moldings or original proportions. Spread across three levels, the Olympic Club creates a progressive experience in which hospitality unfolds in different forms. The first floor welcomes and introduces visitors. The Reception Hall and the Bar Colonne become spaces for informal encounters, where the bar takes on a central, almost urban role, activating the space and encouraging interaction. Custom furnishings, careful attention to acoustic and visual comfort, and the opening onto the loggia overlooking Via dei Mercanti bring the monumental scale of the palace back to a more intimate and shared dimension. The historic staircase is transformed into a narrative element through a vertical installation inspired by Trajan’s Column, guiding both gaze and movement and constructing a visual story that connects the different levels of the Club. On the second floor, the Galleria restaurant and the private suites express a denser and more material sense of Milanese identity, through references to athletic gesture, artworks and an atmosphere of refined discretion. This level also hosts the Executive Area, Spazio Donzelli, where Park reinterprets the theme of representation through a language that merges the rigor of historic offices with the principles of the contemporary workplace. The top floor accommodates the Sala Torre, conceived as a place for decompression and shared vision, and the Sala Terrazzo, a flexible space for events and institutional meetings that extends outdoors onto a terrace designed in full respect of the historic architecture. Throughout the project, the selection of Made in Italy furnishings, often sourced from rental solutions, reinforces a conscious approach to sustainability, understood not as a symbolic gesture but as a design methodology. With the Olympic Club, Park signs an intervention that transcends the dimension of temporary staging to affirm itself as an architecture of experience, capable of holding together memory and present, uniqueness and collective dimension.
