Shining Surface, curated by Cloe Piccoli, Palazzo dell’Arengario, Milano, April 9th-14th 2013
This is an installation designed and implemented by Park Associati for the Sala Fontana, the space hosting the big neon work by Lucio Fontana in the Museo del Novecento. The installation has been realized for the eighth edition of Inside Art, the Saporiti Italia laboratory dedicated to the research of furnishing objects for large spaces of art and architecture. Shining Surface is a large iridescent surface, a structure, a horizontal wall placed on the ground, reflecting the atmosphere of the Sala Fontana from a new point of view.
Spazio FMG per l'Architettura, Milano, curate by Luca Molinari e Simona Galateo, March 7-29 2013
"The project was chosen for its ability to combine the themes of sustainability, and of conservative reuse but attentive to the needs of rationalization of the interior spaces and the external façade; to emphasize the lines of the building by lightening the fixtures by diversifying the two different uses of the building (offices and hotels); to dialogue with the complex system of public spaces throughout the Porta Nuova area, giving emphasis to the ground's attack on the volume; to create a sophisticated and elegant project that speaks softly without shouting, measured on the real needs of the client, on the basis of a fair economic commitment," Manfredi Catella, Hines Italia CEO.

“Looking at the modernity of Adriano Olivetti's experience, we can start a different path that can enhance the current true Italian wealth: the myriad of small-medium enterprises of Made in Italy that, in addition to offering a production of excellence, is often represented through quality architecture for their settlements.” Luca Zevi

"ITALIA PER INTERNI - Architectures of taste is the exhibition that Spazio FMG dedicates to interior design projects. In fact, the guest studios present three examples of how Italian architecture can express itself in its highest form even when compared to interior design. For this exhibition we have selected three restaurant projects that stand out for their characteristics, atmospheres, dimensions and decidedly new looks. "Luca Molinari - Simona Galateo

“In perspective, the contribution that talian architecture can offer, is the ability to give humanity to places: the theme of building warm hearts for new communities is one of the big bets for the near future. Spaces where public and private, internal and external, real and digital can meet: on these ambiguities, on these borders, Italian architecture can give interesting and sophisticated contributions capable of bringing ideas and visions to everyday life.” Luca Molinari
