18th November 2021, from 7 pm to 10 pm
Park Hub, Via Garofalo 31, Milan
As part of the Bookcity Milan initiative, Park Associati present INLEGNO. Cambiare prospettiva per costruire il future.
The book is the result of the research carried out by Park Associati and Bollinger+Grohmann on the wide and still partly unexplored potential of wood as a sustainable resource in present and future architecture. The reflection that INLEGNO offers, covers the current climate crisis, the history of the use of wood and the innovative technologies that support its usage.
Meeting the authors during the evening of 18th November 2021, Silvia Robertazzi, curator of the Milano Design Film Festival, tackled some of the themes explored in depth by the book. Specifically, the invitation to change one’s mindset, to approach design differently with the aim of challenging the established models of construction. A declaration of intent that is mindful of the fact that there is still a long way to go before a balance between climate crisis and growth opportunities is achieved.
