Brioni Boutiques

A contemporary expression of Italian elegance

The interior design concept developed for Brioni boutiques around the world interprets the brand’s heritage of refined menswear through a language that combines timeless elegance, craftsmanship and contemporary sensibility. Across different international locations, each boutique translates Brioni’s identity through a design approach inspired by the great masters of Italian architecture and design, including Franco Albini, Gio Ponti, Carlo Scarpa and Carlo Mollino. Their influence emerges in a balance between formal rigour, attention to detail and the sophisticated use of materials. Wood panelling, brass, bronzed glass, Eramosa marble and travertine define the interiors, creating warm and sophisticated environments that evoke the Roman origins of the brand while establishing a contemporary atmosphere. The spaces are conceived as elegant settings where architecture enhances the quality of the garments and the overall customer experience. The layout of each boutique follows a clear sequence of spaces dedicated to the different expressions of Brioni’s world: accessories and leather goods near the entrance, followed by leisurewear, formalwear and tailored services. Each area maintains its own identity while remaining part of a coherent spatial narrative. Where present, the VIP Room represents the most exclusive part of the experience, offering a private and intimate environment dedicated to bespoke tailoring, with carefully designed furnishings, material samples and personalised services. The Brioni flagship store in Milan, located in Via Gesù within a historic four-storey building that once housed the brand’s tailoring workshop and offices, embodies this approach. The renovation reinterprets the relationship between architecture, craftsmanship and luxury through a fluid connection between interiors and the building’s hidden courtyard, a distinctive element of Milanese architecture. Natural light, views of the city and the presence of a dedicated tailoring area contribute to recreate the atmosphere of an elegant contemporary atelier. Across all locations, Brioni boutiques become spaces where architecture and fashion meet, transforming the act of entering, discovering and experiencing the brand into a refined journey through Italian design culture.
