BOB translates an archetype  into a piece with a strong character, where formal clarity and design precision meet Billiani’s long-standing woodworking tradition. Designed by Park, the chair emerges from the encounter between a contemporary design approach and a deep-rooted expertise in timber craftsmanship, resulting in a product where every element is essential and every detail contributes to its identity. At the core of the design is the sled base, which moves beyond its structural role to become the defining architecture of the object. A continuous frame outlines the chair’s shape, posture, and presence, giving it a distinctive graphic profile and a clear visual identity. The lines are crisp, the proportions carefully calibrated, and the volumes solid yet measured. The wide, gently rounded backrest engages in dialogue with the flat seat, creating a balance between simple geometries and refined formal clarity. The result is a piece that conveys both solidity and visual lightness, integrating naturally into a variety of settings. The collection includes two versions, a chair and a 74 cm high stool, both sharing the same structural logic and design language. The continuous perimeter frame ensures stability and formal coherence, reinforcing the collection’s distinctive character. In line with Billiani’s approach, BOB celebrates the craft of making through precise joinery, careful workmanship, and finely calibrated finishes, expressing a quality designed to endure.
