On the occasion of Book City 2024, Park Associati is hosting Glossariétto: vocaboli al confine tra Editoria e Architettura, a two-day event dedicated to exploring the meeting points between publishing and architecture through language.

The symposium focuses on a selection of polysemous words that lie halfway between publishing and architecture, highlighting their ambiguities and interpretative potential. These terms, mirrors of contemporary reality, reflect the tensions and transformations occurring in both fields, and precisely because of their ambiguity, they open up to multiple meanings and interpretations. Language, like the words themselves, is never static: it evolves continuously, and terms take on different meanings depending on the historical and cultural context and the intentions of those who use them.
Glossariétto aims to explore the complexity of these words, just as is done with the terms found in glossaries at the end of a book. For each word – Genere, Rapidità, Carattere e Volume-, professionals from the fields of publishing and architecture have been identified to provide cross-disciplinary contributions that will be related to and in dialogue with each other.
