Studio
Michele Rossi
Architect, born in Milan in 1964. He graduated in Architecture at Milan Polytecnico in 1991 and from 1992 to 1996 worked with Michele De Lucchi. In 1996 he moved to London to join David Chipperfield and Din Associates; at the same time was Visiting Professor at St. Martin's School of Arts. In 1999 he returned to Italy and in 2000 founded PARK ASSOCIATI with Filippo Pagliani. From 1999 to 2001 he taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and from 1999-2004 professor at ISAD (Istituto Superiore di Architettura e Design). Since 2005 he is professor at Milan Polytechnic. He regularly gives lectures and seminars in Italy and abroad and participates in juries of architectural competitions.
Filippo Pagliani
Architect, born in Milan in 1968 where he graduated in architecture at the Politecnico in 1992. In the following years and until 1996 he worked in the studio of Renzo Piano in Paris. Back in Milan, he collaborated until 1999 with Michele De Lucchi studio, where he met Michele Rossi. Together they founded in 2000 Park Associati. From 2001 to 2013 Filippo Pagliani has been Head of Design Technology Laboratory at Politecnico of Milan. In 2008 he received his PhD in Building Systems and Processes at the University of Construction Engineering, Department of Science and Technology of the Built Environment at the Politecnico of Milan. He is currently Professor of Architectural Design at the Faculty of Civil Engineering / Architecture of Politecnico in Milan. He regularly gives lectures and seminars in Italy and abroad and participates in juries of architectural competitions.
